150482fad9 Texlive-2017, and tag most of it for gcc-7.1. For the binary installer I have not tagged that (only installed the release on 8.0), but I did run the pretest, and therefore ncurses5 and readline6, on a gcc-7.1 system.

42bb57da0c Biblatex-biber and related perl module changes - 
· dependency changes, remove Date::Simple, add new deps
· for biber only record time with tests, it is perl where tests are expected, all pass
· for modules ('distributions') use double colons instead of dashes in displayed names
· but use dashes in URLs to get directly to the distribution instead of getting list of matches
· also update Text::BibTeX and List::AllUtils to current versions.

fc8b669891 perl-modules : comment Unicode::Collate and Unicode::Normalize, the core versions are good enough for biblatex-biber, and Unicode::Normalize was probably added in error - I saw the dep, did not realise it was core.

5e61060f7c Update texlive to 2016, also update xindy to current source. Various cleanups, in particular the perl modules are now mode 644. Explanations brought into same order as the commands (I hope). Tag asymptote and biber. Any users of asymptote on gcc-6.1 systems should consult the wiki pages for install-tl-unx or asymptote (i.e. if from source) as appropriate. E&OE.

35b6a2ee46 biblatex-biber-2.4 and consequential perl module changes. I have downgraded the test deps for biber to optional: when I first put this in the book, test failures indicated problems. But for the last three releases we have had to expect at least one failure because we are not building on OSX. Meanwhile, v2.4 breaks external modules (hopefully, all have been updated by now) so the tests are no more useful than for most other desktop packages.

145cccdf75 Fix up the biber perl module dependencies. When I added that page, I convinced myself that List::MoreUtils and LWP::Protocol::https were always pulled in by other modules, which was wrong. I have now added some comments in the biber deps, ready for the next time it changes.

59e61f7adb biblatex-biber-2.1a: This is a slightly different tarball from what I've been using for the last few days, with two extra fixes, so for the moment not tested with LFS-7.7 - that can wait for TL-2015. Also removed a legacy 'a' in the instruction to untar biblatex. As with 2.0, temporarily point the http to my space on higgs until anduin is updated, so that in the unlikely event of somebody trying to build this they can find the source.

ec1072072f Slightly improve user-automation of install-tl-unx: generate the correct ARCH-linux directory name for extrapaths.sh. The directory name in the cd is unfortunately still '<CCYYMMDD>'. Also correct the biber tag to checked for 7.5.
