3ddcb52b3e SWIG: Temporarily turn off JavaScript support due to problems with Node. 
The Node CLI changed significantly enough that the tests will no longer
run and will give out errors which point towards problems in Make, when
they are due to changes in Node's CLI.

Let's turn the JavaScript support off for now since nothing else in BLFS
uses it.

This cleans up the output significantly, only leaving a few tests from
Lua failing and some from Go (since we use the GCC variant instead of
Google's official compiler.)

e09da3c5e4 Add pythonhosted page 
This page is not complete.  The build part does not work yet, but
the fetch of files does.  If the fetch is run a second time, it
will only get a file in the .md5 file that is not already present.

The install instructs are mostly OK, but the test for the module
already installed is not correct yet.  The next commit will
update it.

ea3ad85864 Python3's module reinstallation instructions: 
Add meson into the list for both init systems

On systemd, mention MarkupSafe and Jinja2 from LFS as well.

There is a really long list of affected packages in IRC. We should come
up with a better way of handling this, I feel like the list would be too
long if we added it in normally.

replace hd2u with dos2unix 
hd2u seems a "personal project" and the maintainer just doesn't want to
follow the convention in open source community.  Recently an annoying
stealth update happened.  Switch to another package providing the same
dos2unix command.

libgpg-error and gpgme: remove {gpg-error,gpgme}-config from contents 
libgpg-error stop to provide gpg-error-config in 1.46.  And, if gpgme is
built with libgpg-error-1.46, it won't ship gpgme-config as well.

rustc: demote curl and libssh2 to recommended 
And, adjust LIBSSH2_SYS_USE_PKG_CONFIG according to if libssh2 is
installed.  Export it earlier so x.py build and x.py install will use
the same LIBSSH2_SYS_USE_PKG_CONFIG value.  This can reduce some
repeated building process.

poppler: use https for testfile 
Using https can avoid MIM attack (though I don't think a MIM attack
against test files is really useful), and ease the set up of proxy if
one is needed.

8706503737 Fix SBU values for llvm and rust 
When measuring the SB unit, I used a terminal with "time { ... }".
When measuring LLVM and rust SBUs, I redirected output. It seems
the gnome terminal is very slow, and when redirecting the output of
the "time" command above, the SB unit goes from 119s down to
86s.

systemd: use -Dpam=true 
The main point to rebuild systemd in BLFS is for logind.  Add -Dpam=true
so meson will fail if PAM is not installed correctly, instead of
silently producing a systemd build w/o logind again.

libxkbcommon: change xkeyboard-config to runtime, and add xorg-env 
The building system only uses xkeyboard-config pkg-config file to find
the path to xkeyboard-config files.  Without xkeyboard-config installed,
it guesses /usr/share/X11/xkb.

The deep recursion was caused by a docbook-xsl issue, which should be

js91: SSE2 can be used for GCC + 32-bit if the system is capable 
Other workarounds (simply replacing "double_t") leads FP-related tests
to fail.  If someone is really running a non-SSE2 system, he/she will
need Clang (maybe ironically as you have to build more things on such
a slow system, but we don't have any other solution).

f572dbb2c6 Building mozilla apps with gcc is broken on i686 
We used to sed the double_t definition to allow building, but now
we use clang, so that the build passes without sed. Say that using
GCC breaks the build in command explanations too.

* If it's not set, things will be OK.
* If it's set normally, things will be OK.
* If it's set to a non-exist path, many tests will fail.

So for now just papering over the "bad XDG_RUNTIME_DIR issue" by unset
it.

Since 2.10.0, it accesses the catalog at $(sysconfdir)/xml/catalog.
The default sysconfdir is $(prefix)/etc, and /usr/etc/xml/catalog is

bluez: for systemd, create /var/lib/bluetooth at installation 
In the systemd unit file of bluez-5.64, there is:

    ProtectSystem=full
    ReadWritePaths=/var/lib/bluetooth

The combination of these two options make systemd to bind mount /
recursively and read-only to /run/systemd/unit-root in a new mount
namespace, then bind mount /var/lib/bluetooth to
/run/systemd/unit-root/var/lib/bluetooth, then run bluez in the chroot
at /run/systemd/unit-root in the separate namespace.

This helps to reduce the potential damage if a bluez security
vulnerability is exposed.  But, if /var/lib/bluetooth does not exist,
systemd will fail to bind mount it and complain:

    bluetooth.service: bluetooth.service: Failed to set up mount
    namespacing: /run/systemd/unit-root/var/lib/bluetooth: No such
    file or directory

As a simple workaround, just create this directory at installation.  A
more elegant solution will be shipped in bluez-5.65:

In some cases --upgrade or --force-reinstall is needed when installing
a python module.  Add some notes describing these options.

If one of the above options is used, --no-deps may be needed to avoid
reinstalling package dependencies.  Note this option also.

Note than only "setting" CC=gcc CXX=g++ will not work:

    CC=gcc
    CXX=g++
    sh ../js/src/configure.in ...

will not pass CC=gcc and CXX=g++ to sh.  It's needed to export CC and
CXX:

    CC=gcc
    CXX=g++
    export CC CXX
    sh ../js/src/configure.in ...

Or, explicitly pass them:

    CC=gcc CXX=g++ h ../js/src/configure.in ...
