Introduction to <application>GOCR</application>
The GOCR contains a small
OCR (Object Character Recognition) program. It is
useful for reading text from a graphical input file. It works without
training, but you'll need a high quality scan to get a good results.
GOCR can used as a console utility, but
there is an GTK-frontend in the source package, also.
