<para><parameter>--sysconfdir=/etc/gnome</parameter>: This switch puts
configuration files in <filename class="directory">/etc/gnome</filename>
instead of <filename class="directory">$GNOME_PREFIX/etc</filename>.</para>
<para><option>--with-ssl</option>: Use this option to enable
<acronym>SSL</acronym> support if
<application>Open<acronym>SSL</acronym></application> is installed.</para>
<para><option>--with-ldap</option>: Use this option to enable
<acronym>LDAP</acronym> address book support if
