Ken Moffat 35b6a2ee46 biblatex-biber-2.4 and consequential perl module changes. I have downgraded the test deps for biber to optional: when I first put this in the book, test failures indicated problems. But for the last three releases we have had to expect at least one failure because we are not building on OSX.
