<title>Installation of sendmail</title>

<para>Before building sendmail, we need to create users, groups and
directories that sendmail uses with the following commands:</para>

useradd -g smmsp -G mail -u 18 smmsp &amp;&amp;
chmod 1777 /tmp &amp;&amp;

mkdir /var/spool/mqueue
