875b3b57e8 Fix various option vs parameter problems 
Sometimes there is no really a problem, but alos avoids that
automatic detection with "make test-options" return false positives

e1e58be454 Remove all ftp urls 
neither firefox nor epiphany can download them, and they are not
well maintained, because rarely tested.
This is WIP because the "(HTTP)" part of "Download (HTTP)" will
need to be removed too.
But let's see what users think first...

fftw: Add --enable-avx2, and document --enable-{sse2,avx,avx2,avx512} 
The first AVX2-capable CPUs are released in 2013 (ten years ago)
and now all recent Intel Core and AMD Ryzen models support it.  So
it makes sense to enable it now.  AVX512F is much uncommon now for
non-server CPU models (only Rocket Lake, Alder Lake with E-cores
disabled, and Zen 4), so leave it as <option>.

4c24eb0a40 Remove period at the end of short descriptions. 
In the process, some attributes in single quotes have been changed to double
quotes, and a few attribute lists have been written on one line instead of
several lines.

7f7e7f6fb7 fftw3: Suppress the static lib(s) and offer an explanation for why the threads lib might be needed - I had been building this for years without needing to enable it, until I tried to build the G'MIC plugin. Perhaps whatever caused this to be added to the book also needs that library ?
